CLINTON OKLAHOMA, JULY 1, 2016 - Today MineralMarketing.Com announced they are welcoming Mr. Corky Heard of Clinton, Oklahoma to their national energy marketing team. Corky and his family are long time residents of the Clinton area and have successfully operated a professional real estate and auction company in that area for over 28 years. Corky will be representing MineralMarketing.com effectively immediately in the Western Oklahoma Region.
As the energy industry begins to throttle back up, Western Oklahoma will continue to be one of the primary target markets for our company, said Shane Terrel, President of MineralMarketing.com. We are excited to be working with Corky Heard and we view the Clinton/Weatherford area markets as an excellent base of operations for Mineral Marketing to help oil and gas mineral owners with their leasing and sales needs. Over the years our company has expanded into most major oil and gas plays across the country, however we built our platform from the beginning in the Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas markets and we are excited to be able to support Corky Heard's efforts as he continues to leverage our industry leading services across Western Oklahoma.
About Corky Heard: He is is a Past President of the Clinton Chamber of Commerce, Clinton Kiwanis Club and the United Fund. Corky is a long time member of the Clinton Planning and zoning commission and a board member for the State of Oklahoma Abstract Board. He is also a member of the First Christian Church in Clinton. Corky graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1987 with a B.A. in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing and he graduated from the Missouri Auction School in 2003. He obtained his Oklahoma Real Estate license, and has been actively involved in the business ever since. He has developed several residential areas, built a multitude of homes, and disposed of numerous residential, commercial properties and farms during the S&L Crisis. Corky was designated as a Certified Estate Specialist, (CES) by the National Auctioneers Association. Corky is the owner | broker | auctioneer of United Country - Heard Auction & Real Estate, LLC, in Clinton, Oklahoma. Corky married his wife Missy, and they have two daughters; Jessica, who is employed by Southwestern Oklahoma State University; and Harley, a senior at Clinton High School.
